When should I arrive for Sunday Service?
Plan to arrive 20 minutes before start time. This will allow time for parking, greetings, finding a seat, settling down, and preparing to be fully present in order to get the most out of the worship experience.
Where should I park?
You will find a parking lot located at the back of the church building, as well as street parking on both Tatnall and Shipley. Additional parking is also available in the parking lot across the street in the “Foreman Mills” shopping center.
How big is Cornerstone?
Cornerstone is considered to be a mid-sized church where all who come may find welcome.
Do I have to belong to your denomination to attend?
What should I wear?
No sweat at all! We want you to feel comfortable here at Cornerstone. We follow a casual dress code, so think comfy and respectful. A suit, shirt tie, dress shirt and slacks, nice pair of jeans with a button-down shirt or a sweater would be perfect. For dresses or skirts, something knee-length or longer is great. The most important thing is that you feel welcome and ready to connect with us!
What is a typical Sunday Service experience like?
During a typical worship service on any given Sunday, you will experience fervent prayers, music that touches your soul, inspirational scripture reading, transformational preaching, cheerful giving (offering), and the movement of the Holy Spirit refreshing your spiritual journey. We are frequently told by visitors how they leave inspired and uplifted.
Can a visitor take communion?
Absolutely! We believe everyone is welcome at the Lord's table. If you're visiting with us and feel led to participate in communion, we'd be honored to have you join us. It's a time for fellowship and reflection, open to all who believe in Christ.
Of course, if you have any questions or would feel more comfortable just observing this time, that's perfectly understandable too! We're just glad you're here.
How do I join Cornerstone?
At the end of each service, an invitation is extended for visitors to join the church. When the invitation is extended, simply raise your hand or stand until you have been acknowledged by one of our friendly Ushers. The pastor or one of the Clergy members will guide you from there.
